Our history
Extension of Gergonne Industrie's premises: 5,000m² of additional surface area to accommodate new docks and storage space for reception, as well as workshop areas for the arrival of new machines.
2023Gergonne Industrie obtains the CE marking certificate according to European Regulation 2017/745 Annex II, Chapter I and III. Now able to produce CE marked sterile medical devices in its own name, the company continues its development in the medical sector.
2022After more than two years of preparation and construction, our Gergonne Mexico subsidiary is moving to a new 10,000m² factory in the "Toluca 2000" industrial park.
2022Our factory in Slovakia is expanding: + 1,300m² of workshop and 2,700m² of warehouse. This new extension will then make it possible to increase the load of the workshop by acquiring new machines and by increasing the storage area.
2021Both of our Chinese and Moroccan subsidiaries have moved to new, larger and refurbished premises. GERGONNE MAROC now benefits from more than 5,000m² of site in the Kenitra region, while GERGONNE CHINE has moved into a warehouse of more than 3,000m².
2018To support the development of its medical activity, Gergonne Industrie decided to extend the surface of its clean room by more than 800m² to add rotary cutting machines and thus increase its production capacity.
2018The GERGONNE INDUSTRIE France site has expanded. The surface of certain existing spaces has been increased: the laboratory (+150 m²), the test center (+95 m²) and the loading platform (+230 m², to facilitate shipping flows and delivery). At the same time, we have increased the surface area of the administrative offices (+600 m²) and our production workshops (+2,500 m²), with a view to hosting a fourth coating line by the end of 2017.
2017In a context of strong growth, GERGONNE INDUSTRIE has decided to improve its waste treatment system based on solvents, to further reduce its VOC emissions. Thus, we have invested in a new regenerative thermal oxidizer, in operation since the beginning of October 2016. It is the largest incinerator of this technology installed in France. The performances we are aiming for are around 0.25 mg/Nm3, i.e. two times less than the emission limit value imposed by the European directive.
20162014 also saw the launch of Brand names like: ADHECARE: range of self-adhesive tapes and polyurethane film used in the manufacturing of medical devices OLINXO: double sided PE mounting foam tape for flexographic printing market.
2014In order to develop new markets, GERGONNE group has set up operations in Morocco. GERGONNE MAROC has been set up in Kenitra in an automotive industrial zone, 40 km north of Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Pierre and Simonne GERGONNE's innovative idea is to use double-sided adhesives appearing on the American market to make adhesive items for the household (e.g. adhesive felt washers for the feet of chairs and door nameplates sold under the brand name LAO: Les Applications Oyonnaxiennes). Simonne GERGONNE simultaneously develops the market for small leather goods through her 20 years of experience in the processing of calendered plastic sheeting. A range of adhesive products for the home is quickly developed and a network of sales representatives visiting chemists and hardware stores is deployed to cover the various regions of France.
